I actually didn’t want to go into Jamb 2018 registration and examination gist for now, however certain questions from desperate candidates makes me just want to air my view and as well open the room for other’s opinions.

So far, I have been able to answer one or two questions regarding Jamb 2018 plus amazing guide. In this article, I shall be discussing what I think as to whether Jamb will repeat “In Dependence” for Jamb 2018 examination or not.

In 2012 , Jamb introduced a novel called “ The Successors ” by Jerry Agada. ‘The Successors’ is the story of who comes next and how they got there– in this case, the fictional life history of Okoh Ameh and Terkura Atsen and the succession by David and Ifenne. And what they learnt (that Industry and hard work pays).

The Successors was Used for about 2 years or more. Then in 2015 , Jamb introduced a new novel called THE LAST DAYS AT FORCADOS HIGH SCHOOL. Characters in the novel are agents employed by the author to develop his story. This he does through their actions, comments, thoughts and feelings.

The last days at Forcados high school served as Jamb recommended novel for Use of English for about two years before it was changed.

Now, In 2017, Jamb introduced a new and compulsory novel for Use of English. The novel is titled In Dependence . 

The independence novel introduced by Jamb

has only been used once . Following history, Jamb has never used a recommended novel for only one year. It is usually a minimum of two years. That is to say, J amb independence will be used for Jamb 2018.
