On behalf of the University Management, I congratulate all new students and welcome all returning students to the 2023/2024 Academic Session. As we prepare for the commencement of the new Academic Session, we would like to provide you with the following important information regarding accommodation processing.
Accommodation Processing: Students who have paid at least 60% of their school fees are eligible to process their accommodation. The Hostel allocation will be on a first-come, first- served basis at the University portal starting from Friday, 29th September 2023. Resumption Date: Both returning and new students are required to resume on Saturday, 14th.
October 2023. Upon resumption, all students must bring a printed copy of their hostel allocation. Please note that students without this document will not be allowed into the hall of residence.
Appeal Process: For students who are unable to meet the minimum 60% payment requirement, an appeal process is in place. Students can write an appeal letter to the University Registrar signed by their parent, addressing the following points:
1. How much they have paid (students must pay some part of their fees before commencing the appeal process)
2. Reason(s) for being unable to pay up to 60% of the school fees
3. A proposed payment plan outlining how they intend to defray the remaining fees
The appeal letter should be signed by the parent, scanned, and uploaded through the appropriate link in the University portal.
We understand that financial situations may vary, and we are committed to working with you to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their education. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Student Affairs Office. We appreciate your attention to these guidelines and wish you a successful and productive academic year.
