This is to inform all students of the upcoming essay writing challenge titled; “THE ROLE OF EDUCATION IN FOSTERING GENDER EQUALITY FOR GIRLS”

(Note: Essays should not be less than 500 words)

ELIGIBILITY

• Participants must be bona-fide female students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State.

• Participants must be in good financial standing with the Students’ Union Government and their respective departmental associations.

• Participation entry begins on Tuesday, 3rd October, 2023, and closes on Monday, 9th October, 2023.

• Each participant is limited to submitting only one essay.

• Essays must be submitted on or before Monday, 9th October, 2023.

• Participants must provide their SUG and Departmental receipts at the time of essay submission.

WINNERS:

1st Position: 1 carton of sanitary pads

2nd Position: Half carton of sanitary pads

3rd Position: 5 packs of sanitary pads
