After some dialogue with our own Jamb Officials concerning what happened to some of our jamb students during the jamb Utme.

They referred us to another jamb registrar, who is in charge of adding mark to students that wrote jamb to some centres that has technical problem during the examination.

We talked with the the jamb registrar concerning our own candidates to know how he will assist us and our candidates..

They briefly explained to us that they do add extra 60 marks to some candidates that has technical problem during the examination in order to compensate them. They said that the additional 60 marks are added to students mark after jamb has released their UTME result. If jamb Utme result is out, the addition of 60 marks to students Utme score will last for only two weeks, and after the two weeks all the students can now check their score in the jamb website to see their new jamb score. If your score was 200 before, after the addition of 60marks, it will now be 260marks. And once the new score is out after that two weeks jamb Utme result came out, there will be nothing like addition of 60marks again to students bcoz that’s when the jamb database for the year will close.

They said if our students need the addition of 60 marks to their jamb score, that they will collect little amount from them bcoz we are being referred to them by their fellow jamb officials.
